In our experience, patients often get better medical care if they're able to ask their doctors the right questions. In order to make it easier for patients to ask the right questions, we've assembled a group of doctors, surgeons and specialists from leading hospitals and asked them to come up with the most important (and most overlooked) issues that patients face.

Using helpafriend.com, you can email your friend these questions by following three simple steps:

• Step 1: Use the pull down menu on the home page to indicate the disease that your friend is suffering from. When you've made your choice, click on the "GO" button.
  
  
• Step 2: Specify the particulars of the disease using this pull down menu. For example, if you had chosen the disease "cancer: women" in step 1, you would now indicate the type of cancer- breast cancer, cervical cancer, lung cancer, etc.
  
  Don't worry if you get these specifics wrong. Your friend will be able to change and customize her diagnosis when she returns to our website.
  
  After you've made your choice, click on the "GO" button.
  
  
• Step 3: Now enter the information needed to send an email to your friend. Be sure to complete all the blanks in the form. We've also included a space for you to send a personal note to your friend. Click the "send help" button when your finished, then you're done!
